Thermostat for ATV Bashan Quad 2500cc BS250S-11 60c Description

This thermostat is suitable for ATV Bashan Quads 250cc with water cooling system.

It can be mounted on the following ATV Bashan Quads:
- BS2500S-11.

Thanks to this thermostat, the minimum engine's working temperature is 60°C.

Operating principle:

When the temperature of the coolant liquid is below 60°C, the thermostat is in a closed state. The coolant liquid flows in a closed loop and never flows through the radiator.

Once the temperature raise above 60°C, the thermostat opens and the coolant liquid can flow through the radiator.

To check the thermostat you will need a cooking pot, some water, a thermometer that can measure up to 100°C, the thermostat to test:
- Put the thermostat and the thermometer in the water filled cooking pot.
- Heat the water.
- The thermostat should open when the water temperature is about 60°C.

Where is the thermostat located?

It's located in the housing found on the left hand-side of the quad.
