Recoil Starter for Mini Bike (type 1) Description

This pull start is suitable for Mini Bikes.

How to start your Mini Bike without breaking the recoil starter at first use:

1) To start the Mini Bike, especially when the engine is cold, pull a few taps on the handle to bring the piston up into its sleeve.

2) Pull sharply on the cord without pulling to the end of it. This will prevent breaking the cord or wresting a part of the recoil starter.

The engine of a Mini Bike rarely starts on the first try. If you pull on the cord when the piston goes down you are likely to reach the position of highest compression when reaching the end of the cord. This is a sure way to break the recoil starter rapidly.
